EKHART WYCIK, Conductor.  This year Maestro Wycik was appointed as the Assistant Music Director and 1^st Kappelmeister at the Dortmund Opera House in Germany where he will conduct productions of Bizet’s Carmen, Rimsky-Korsakov’s Golden Cockerel and Strauss’ Der Rosenkavalier.  Last season Ekhart made his United States debut with the Wichita Grand Opera conducting Mozart’s Magic Flute.  Previously he served as Assistant Music Director of Pfalz Theater in Kaiserslautern, Germany, and has been invited as guest conductor in Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Hungary and Italy.  Maestro Wycik graduated summa cum laude from Düsseldorf’s Robert Schumann University of Music. 

DALE MOREHOUSE, Stage Director and Dr. Greenville.  He has sung 78 leading baritone roles in opera, operetta, and musical theatre throughout the United States, including Atlanta Opera, New Orleans Opera, Berkshire Opera, Opera Memphis, Nevada Opera Theatre, Nashville Opera, Tri-Cities Opera, Sarasota Opera, and Mississippi Opera. He has served as stage director for Opera Memphis, South Florida Opera, Treasure Coast Opera, and Sarasota Opera, among others. He is Associate Professor of Voice and Opera at the University of Missouri in Kansas City, and Teacher of Stage Artistry at the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria.
