Jose Luis Pareja, Conductor. Mr. Pareja was born in Alcoy, Spain in a family of musicians. He began his career as a pianist, collaborating with many prominent opera performers. In 1981, he specialized in orchestral conducting with Franco Ferrarias in Genova. Since then he is a founder and regular conductor of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Levante and has achieved great success throughout Europe with performances including La Traviata, Lucia di Lammermoor, Tosca and many others. He has also conducted New Year concerts in the Theater Principal of Alicante. Pareja is a regular guest conductor in Mexico, Columbia, France, Italy, Romania and Turkey. Among the latest productions of Maestro Pareja are Madama Butterfly at Theater Principal of Valencia and Lucia di Lammermoor at Opera Festival of The Coruña and Tosca at Auditory Theater of Roquetas de Mar, as well as Carmen at Aspendos Festival. |

Nina Naydenova, Stage Director. Ms. Naydenova started her career as the Stage Director at State Opera House of Stara Zagora in Bulgaria in 2002. Highlights of her career have been her stage direction of La Traviata, Lucia di Lammermoor, The Merry Widow, and Don Carlos. Ms. Naydenova studies opera direction at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Italy and cinema dramaturgy at the University of IULM in Milan, Italy. Among her awards was the Opera Festival “MUSICOROM TEMPORA 2000” in Rome for the production of Il Barbiere di Siviglia. In addition to her stage directing, she is a professor at the New Bulgarian University. | |
