WICHITA – Wichita Grand Opera announces today that tickets will go on sale Monday, August 9th for its 2004-2005 season, “Across the Globe.” The season line-up highlights some of the most beloved operas ever written, including Don Giovanni, The Mikado, Barber of Seville, Aida, and La Boheme.
Season subscriptions are available ranging in price from $96 to $300, and represent a discount of 20%-25% off regular single ticket prices. Season packages include four or five operas and offer either a weekend evening or matinee option. With nine different prices to choose from, there is a package available to suit everyone.
Single tickets are $30, $50, and $80 for each performance. An Early Bird Discount of 10% is available on single tickets purchased before September 30, 2004. Groups of 10 or more are entitled to a 15% discount off regular single ticket prices. Tickets may be purchased with Visa/MasterCard or check.

The box office hours are Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM CST. On performance Fridays the box office will be open until 8:30 PM, on performance Saturdays the box office will be open 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM, and on matinee Sundays the box office will be open 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM. Parking is available on Douglas Avenue and on the Kennedy Plaza.
