DAVID SETTLE

Baritone David Settle’s career has taken him to many operatic stages in Oklahoma, Dallas, and Shreveport. He has sung in master classes with Marilyn Horne, Nico Castel and others. Dr. Settle has been on the Music Faculty at Sterling College since 2007 and frequently sings concerts and recitals in the area. Currently he is the publisher of the Lyons News and director of newspaper operations for Hi Neighbor Newspapers in central Kansas. This is his second season as a Resident Artist with the WGO; last season he appeared as General Kromov in The Merry Widow and the Imperial Commissioner in Madama Butterfly.
